JOB DESCRIPTION:  Clear Channel Media & Entertainment Norfolk has an opportunity for an experienced sale professional to come grow with us.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Highly professional and ethical Sales Executives needed to develop new business and create radio and digital-oriented marketing campaigns for clients.  Coordinate and plan daily and weekly calls in the Seven cities area.  Responsible for accounts, sales, service – including proposals, promotions, radio schedule and collections.

JOB TITLE: Sales Assistant

DESCRIPTION: We have an immediate opening for a highly qualified Sales Assistant to join our team

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sales Assistant will work closely with sales team assisting in all aspects of business development and sales team organization. Ideal candidate will be competitive and thrive in a performance based environment.

Required Skills

• Assist staff with sponsorship proposals and recaps
• Generating contract confirmations and invoices for staff upon request
• Sending out spot times upon client request
• Generating reports
• Performing general administrative duties including faxing, filing and copying
• Relieving receptionist when necessary
• Separate and distribute contracts to AE’s in a timely manner
• Attend and contribute to weekly Sales meeting with the team
• Prepare, edit and finalized sales presentations, type and proofread memos, letters and copy
• Provide assistance to staff regarding various software program
• Assisting AE’s with revisions when requested
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by managers and AE’s

Required Experience

• Proficiency in MS programs including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent communications skills
• 4 year college degree preferred
• Radio experience a PLUS
